So, what is manuka-honig?

Manuka honey is a dark, thick, and richly flavored honey produced in New Zealand from the nectar of the manuka tree. It has a distinctive taste and aroma with hints of caramel, toffee, and slightly bitter notes. Known for its antibacterial properties, manuka honey has been used for centuries as a natural remedy for wounds, sore throats, and digestive issues. Its potent healing properties are due to the high levels of methylglyoxal (MGO) present in the honey. Manuka honey is also prized for its nutritional value, containing vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that support overall health and wellbeing.
