So, what is manzanilla olive?
Manzanilla olives are a small, greenish-yellow variety of olives that are commonly grown in Spain. With a subtle, slightly salty flavor and a firm, meaty texture, they are a popular ingredient in Mediterranean cuisine, especially in tapas dishes. The olives are typically harvested when they are still young and unripe, which gives them their distinctive color and mild taste. Manzanilla olives are often pitted and stuffed with various ingredients such as garlic, anchovies, or cheese. They also make a great addition to salads, sandwiches, and pizza toppings.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
