So, what is milchsäurebakterienkulturen?
Milchsäurebakterienkulturen, also known as lactic acid bacteria cultures, are a group of beneficial bacteria commonly used in the production of fermented foods such as yogurt, cheese, and sauerkraut. These cultures convert lactose and other sugars into lactic acid, which gives these foods their characteristic tangy flavor and helps to preserve them by creating a hostile environment for harmful bacteria. In addition to their culinary uses, milchsäurebakterienkulturen are also widely used in the production of probiotic supplements, which are believed to promote gut health and boost the immune system.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
