So, what is natriumfosfaten?
Natriumfosfaten, also known as sodium phosphate, is a food ingredient that is commonly used as an emulsifier, thickener and acidity regulator. It is a salt composed of sodium cations and phosphate anions, and can be found in various forms such as monosodium phosphate, disodium phosphate, and trisodium phosphate. Natriumfosfaten is often added to processed foods like baked goods, dairy products, and meat products to improve their texture, flavor, and preservation. Although it is generally recognized as safe by regulatory authorities, excessive consumption of natriumfosfaten may lead to negative health effects such as kidney damage and cardiovascular disease.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
