So, what is naudan luut?
Naudan luut, also known as beef bones, are a versatile and nutrient-dense ingredient commonly used in cooking. Rich in marrow, collagen, and minerals like calcium and magnesium, they add depth of flavor and health benefits to broths, soups, stews, and sauces. Roasting the bones before use enhances their natural umami and nutty notes, while simmering them for hours extracts their gelatinous goodness. Naudan luut can also be used as a natural chew treat for dogs, promoting dental health and keeping them entertained for hours.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
