So, what is oat oil?
Oat oil is a nutrient-rich, plant-based oil that is extracted from the kernels of oats. This golden-colored oil is an excellent source of healthy monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats, as well as vitamin E and antioxidants. It has a light, nutty flavor and a high smoke point, making it a versatile ingredient in cooking and baking. Oat oil is particularly beneficial for its cholesterol-lowering properties, and is often used as a natural remedy for skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis. Its mild, soothing properties make it a popular ingredient in natural beauty products as well.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
