So, what is ocet?
Ocet, also known as vinegar, is a sour liquid that is commonly used in cooking and food preservation. It is made by fermenting ethanol with acetic acid bacteria, and can be made from a variety of sources such as apples, grapes, rice, or malt. The resulting liquid has a tart, acidic taste and can range in color from clear to a deep red or brown, depending on the source. In addition to its culinary uses, vinegar has also been used for medicinal purposes and as a cleaning agent due to its antibacterial properties.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
