So, what is palmefedt?

Palmeolje is a type of vegetable oil derived from the fruits of the oil palm tree. It is commonly used in food manufacturing due to its high melting point and stability at high temperatures, making it suitable for cooking and frying. Palmeolje also contains a balanced ratio of saturated and unsaturated fatty acids, making it a healthier alternative to some other types of fats. However, there are concerns around the environmental impact of the palm oil industry, such as deforestation and habitat destruction for wildlife. To address these issues, sustainable palm oil certification schemes have been established to ensure responsible sourcing practices.
