So, what is pancreatin?
Pancreatin is a digestive enzyme supplement extracted from the pancreas of pigs or cows. It contains a combination of protease, amylase, and lipase enzymes that help break down proteins, carbohydrates, and fats in the digestive system. Pancreatin is commonly used to aid in the digestion of food for individuals with pancreatic insufficiency, cystic fibrosis, or other digestive disorders. It can also be used as a natural remedy to relieve symptoms of indigestion, bloating, and gas. Pancreatin is available in the form of capsules or tablets and should be taken with meals or as directed by a healthcare professional.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
