So, what is paprikaextrakt?
Paprikaextrakt, also known as paprika extract, is a natural food coloring agent derived from dried and ground paprika peppers. This deep-red extract is rich in antioxidants, specifically carotenoids like capsanthin and capsorubin, which give it its distinctive color. It is commonly used to add color to a variety of foods, including cheeses, meats, sauces, and snacks. Paprikaextrakt has a mild, slightly sweet and smoky flavor that blends well with other spices, making it a popular ingredient in many dishes. In addition to its culinary uses, paprika extract is also used in cosmetics and pharmaceuticals for its potent antioxidant properties.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
