So, what is peteršilj?
Peteršilj, also known as parsley, is a herbaceous plant commonly used as a culinary herb and garnish. It has bright green leaves that are deeply divided and curled at the edges, with a mild, slightly bitter taste. Peteršilj is rich in vitamins and minerals, particularly vitamin C and iron, and has antioxidant properties. It is often used in soups, stews, salads, and sauces, and pairs well with garlic, lemon, and butter. Peteršilj can also be used as a natural breath freshener and digestive aid, and has been traditionally used for medicinal purposes in some cultures.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
