So, what is pili-pili?
Pili-pili, also known as African bird's eye chili, is a small but mighty pepper that packs a spicy punch. These bright red chilies are native to Africa, and are commonly used in African and Indian cuisine to add heat and depth of flavor to dishes. Pili-pili has a fruity and slightly smoky flavor, making it a versatile ingredient that can be used in everything from marinades and sauces to curries and stews. In addition to its fiery taste, pili-pili is also known for its potential health benefits, which include boosting metabolism, reducing inflammation, and aiding digestion.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
