So, what is pindaolie?
Pindaolie, also known as peanut oil, is a versatile and flavorful oil extracted from the kernels of peanuts. With its light golden color and nutty aroma, it adds depth and richness to many dishes such as stir-fries, marinades, dressings, and sauces. It has high smoke point and low saturated fat content, making it a healthier option for frying and cooking at high temperatures. Pindaolie is also rich in vitamin E, resveratrol, and phytosterols, which have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that may help reduce the risk of chronic diseases.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
