So, what is polidimetilsiloxano?

Polidimetilsiloxano, also known as PDMS, is a food-grade silicone-based ingredient commonly used as an anti-foaming agent in various food products. It is a colorless, odorless, and tasteless liquid that exhibits excellent thermal stability and chemical resistance. PDMS is highly effective in reducing foam formation during the production and packaging of food and beverages, such as beer, soft drinks, and soups. It is also used in the production of chewing gum, bakery products, and confectionery to improve the texture and appearance of the final product. PDMS is considered safe for consumption and is approved by various regulatory bodies worldwide.
