So, what is ppg-10-ceteareth-20?
PPG-10-Ceteareth-20 is a type of emulsifying agent commonly used in the food industry. It is a yellowish liquid that is soluble in water and oil, making it an ideal ingredient for creating stable emulsions. This ingredient is composed of two chemical compounds: PPG-10 and Ceteareth-20. PPG-10 is a polyethylene glycol that enhances the solubility of other ingredients, while Ceteareth-20 is a blend of cetyl and stearyl alcohols that helps to thicken and stabilize emulsions. PPG-10-Ceteareth-20 is often added to baked goods, sauces, and dressings to improve texture and consistency.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
