So, what is rågmalt?

Rågmalt, also known as whole rye flour, is a nutritious and flavorful food ingredient that has been used in traditional Scandinavian cuisine for centuries. Made by grinding whole rye berries into a coarse flour, rågmalt has a distinct nutty flavor and a dark brown color. This flour is high in fiber, vitamins, and minerals, making it a great addition to a healthy diet. It can be used in a variety of baked goods, such as bread, muffins, and pancakes, to add a unique texture and flavor. Rågmalt is also commonly used to make porridge and other hearty dishes, and is a staple ingredient in Scandinavian cuisine.
