So, what is rapeseed fat?
Rapeseed fat is a vegetable-based cooking fat that is extracted from the tiny black seeds of the rapeseed plant. It has a mild flavor and a high smoke point, making it an excellent choice for frying and baking. Rapeseed fat is low in saturated fat and high in monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats, which are considered "good" fats that can help lower cholesterol levels. Additionally, rapeseed oil is rich in vitamin E and other antioxidants, making it an overall healthy option for cooking needs.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
