So, what is rättika?
Rättika, also known as daikon radish, is a root vegetable with a crisp texture and a slightly sweet and spicy flavor. It is commonly used in Japanese and Korean cuisine, and has become increasingly popular in Western dishes as well. Rättika can be eaten raw, pickled, or cooked in stir-fries, stews, and soups. It is a low-calorie and nutrient-dense ingredient, containing high levels of vitamin C, potassium, and fiber. Its unique flavor and versatility make rättika a great addition to any dish, adding both flavor and nutrition.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
