So, what is refined olive oil?
Refined olive oil is a type of olive oil that is produced through a refining process, which removes impurities and other undesirable elements. The result is a clear, light-colored oil that has a neutral flavor and a higher smoke point than other types of olive oil. Refined olive oil is often used in cooking, baking, and frying, as it can withstand higher temperatures without burning or smoking. Despite its lack of distinct flavor, refined olive oil still retains many of the health benefits associated with olive oil, such as its high levels of monounsaturated fats and antioxidants.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
