So, what is riboflaviin?
Riboflavin, also known as vitamin B2, is an essential water-soluble vitamin that plays a vital role in many physiological processes in the body. It is a yellow-orange crystalline compound that is naturally present in many foods, such as dairy products, eggs, meat, and green vegetables. Riboflavin is involved in energy production, cellular growth and development, and the metabolism of fats, carbohydrates, and proteins. It is also necessary for healthy skin, eyes, and nervous system function. Riboflavin deficiency is rare, but can lead to a range of health problems, including anemia, skin disorders, and vision impairment.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
