So, what is salè marino?
Salè marino, also known as sea salt, is a natural salt derived from the evaporation of seawater. Unlike regular table salt, which is heavily processed and stripped of its natural minerals, sea salt contains a variety of trace elements and minerals such as magnesium, potassium, and calcium. It is harvested in coastal areas around the world and can come in a variety of textures, colors, and flavors depending on the region it comes from. Salè marino is often used in cooking and as a finishing salt due to its subtle briny flavor and delicate texture.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
