So, what is schapenmelk?

Schapenmelk, also known as sheep's milk, is a highly nutritious and flavorful dairy ingredient. With a creamy and slightly sweet taste, schapenmelk is often used to create rich cheeses and yogurt, such as feta and Roquefort. Compared to cow's milk, schapenmelk is higher in protein, calcium, and vitamins A and B12. It also contains a unique fatty acid called conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), which has been linked to numerous health benefits, including reduced inflammation and improved heart health. Whether enjoyed on its own or incorporated into various recipes, schapenmelk is a versatile and delicious ingredient that offers many health benefits.
