So, what is seetang?
Seetang is a type of edible seaweed commonly found in the North Atlantic and North Pacific oceans. It is also known as kelp or brown algae and has been used as a food source for centuries in many cultures around the world. Seetang is a rich source of vitamins and minerals, including iodine, calcium, iron, and magnesium. Its mild, slightly sweet flavor and chewy texture make it a versatile ingredient that can be used in a variety of dishes, from soups and salads to sushi rolls and stir-fries. In addition to its nutritional benefits, seetang is also believed to have numerous health benefits, including aiding digestion and supporting immune function.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
