So, what is seiche?
Seiche is a type of seafood that belongs to the cephalopod family, which includes squid and octopus. It has a long, tapered body with ten arms that are covered in suction cups. Seiche has a mild, delicate flavor, similar to squid, and a firm texture that holds up well in soups, stews, and salads. It's low in fat and high in protein, making it a healthy choice for seafood lovers. Seiche can be grilled, fried, or sautéed and is often used in Mediterranean and Asian cuisines. When cooked properly, seiche becomes tender and succulent, making it a prized ingredient in many dishes.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
