So, what is semoule?
Semoule is a coarse flour made from durum wheat, typically used in North African and Middle Eastern cuisine. Its distinctive grainy texture and nutty flavor make it a popular ingredient for dishes such as couscous and tabbouleh. It can also be used to make a variety of breads and pastries, as well as as a thickener for soups and stews. High in protein and low in fat, semoule is a healthy and versatile ingredient that adds a delicious and satisfying element to many dishes.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
