So, what is sinnep?
Sinnep, also known as mustard seed, is a small, round, and pungent ingredient commonly used in cooking to add flavor and heat. These tiny seeds are harvested from mustard plants and come in different colors, from yellowish-white to black, and can be ground into a fine powder or used whole. The flavor profile of sinnep is tangy, slightly bitter, and has a sharp kick that can enhance the taste of many dishes, including dressings, marinades, and sauces. Rich in nutrients, such as omega-3 fatty acids, calcium, and iron, sinnep not only adds a bold flavor but also provides health benefits.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
