So, what is sirop de et fructose?
Sirop de fructose is a sweet, syrupy liquid made from corn starch that has been broken down into fructose. It is commonly used as a sweetener in processed foods and beverages, as it is sweeter and more soluble than regular sugar. The fructose in the syrup is metabolized differently than glucose, which means it may have a different effect on the body's blood sugar levels. While sirop de fructose is a convenient sweetener for food manufacturers, it should be consumed in moderation as part of a balanced diet.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
