So, what is skummjölk?
Skummjölk is a Swedish dairy product that translates to "foam milk" in English. It is made by heating milk until it reaches a temperature where the milk proteins denature and form a foam. The foam is then skimmed off the top and cooled to create a rich, creamy product with a slightly tangy flavor. Skummjölk is often used as a topping for traditional Swedish dishes such as pancakes or served with berries and sugar for a sweet dessert. It can also be used as a substitute for whipped cream in some recipes due to its thick and creamy consistency.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
