So, what is sojaolja?

Sojaolja, also known as soybean oil, is a versatile cooking oil that is derived from the seeds of the soybean plant. This oil is a rich source of essential fatty acids, including omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, which are vital for maintaining a healthy body. With a mild and nutty flavor, sojaolja can be used in a variety of dishes, from stir-fries to baking. It has a high smoke point, which makes it perfect for high-temperature cooking methods like frying. Additionally, sojaolja is an excellent source of vitamin E, which acts as an antioxidant, protecting cells from damage caused by free radicals.

How to quickly find the source of ingredients like sojaolja?

We've built a database of 49359 ingredients (and growing), classified as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "maybe vegan".

We use it in our vegan ingredients scanner, which is the best way to avoid non-vegan ingredients - you take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
