So, what is solroslecitin?
Sunflower lecithin, or solroslecitin in Scandinavian countries, is a natural emulsifier derived from sunflower seeds. It is often used as an alternative to soy lecithin due to its non-GMO, allergen-free, and sustainable nature. Solroslecitin can be found in various food products such as chocolates, baked goods, and dressings, as well as in nutritional supplements. Its high phosphatidylcholine content makes it beneficial for brain function and liver health. Additionally, solroslecitin has a neutral flavor profile and enhances the texture and shelf life of food products.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
