So, what is soyaolje?
Soyaolje, also known as soy oil or soya oil, is a popular cooking oil derived from soybeans. It is rich in polyunsaturated and monounsaturated fats, which makes it a healthier option compared to other vegetable oils. Soyaolje has a mild, neutral taste and a high smoke point, making it ideal for deep frying, stir-frying, and baking. It is also a common ingredient in salad dressings, marinades, and sauces. Additionally, soyaolje is a good source of vitamin E and essential omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, which provide numerous health benefits such as reducing inflammation and improving heart health.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
