So, what is splenda?
Splenda is a brand name for a no-calorie artificial sweetener made from sucralose, which is derived from sugar. It is about 600 times sweeter than regular sugar, so only a small amount is needed to sweeten food and beverages. Splenda is commonly used as a sugar substitute by people who want to reduce their calorie intake or manage blood sugar levels. Unlike some other artificial sweeteners, it does not have a bitter aftertaste. Splenda can be used in cooking and baking, and is also available in tablet and liquid form for convenience.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
