So, what is tacaud?
Tacaud is a type of fish found in the North Atlantic, particularly in the waters around France and the UK. Also known as whiting, tacaud has a delicate, sweet flavor and a tender, white flesh that makes it ideal for grilling, frying, or baking. It's a lean fish with low levels of mercury, making it a healthy choice for seafood lovers. Tacaud is often used in traditional French cuisine, where it is typically served with a buttery sauce or paired with other seafood in chowders and stews.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
