So, what is tilsiter?
Tilsiter is a semi-hard cheese with a buttery and nutty flavor that originates from Switzerland. The cheese has a pale yellow color with small holes and a smooth texture. It is aged for around three months, giving it a mild taste, but can be aged up to six months for a stronger flavor. Tilsiter is a versatile cheese that can be used in various dishes such as sandwiches, salads, and soups. Its distinct flavor pairs well with fruits, nuts, and whole-grain bread. This cheese is an excellent source of protein, calcium, and vitamin B12.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
