So, what is tricalciumphosphat?
Tricalcium phosphate, also known as calcium phosphate tribasic, is a calcium salt of phosphoric acid. It is a white, odorless powder that is commonly used as a food additive to provide a source of calcium, which is important for bone health. Tricalcium phosphate is also used as an anti-caking agent, a dough conditioner, and a leavening agent in baked goods. It is often found in dairy products, canned vegetables, and enriched flours. This versatile ingredient is also used in the production of animal feed, fertilizers, and pharmaceuticals.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
