So, what is truvia?
Truvia is a popular sweetener that's made from stevia leaf extract and erythritol, a sugar alcohol. It's a zero-calorie, natural sweetener that has gained popularity as a healthier alternative to traditional sugar. Truvia is approximately 200 times sweeter than regular sugar, meaning that you can use much less of it to achieve the same level of sweetness. It's also heat-stable, making it ideal for baking and cooking. Truvia has a clean, slightly sweet taste and doesn't have the bitter aftertaste that some other artificial sweeteners have.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
