So, what is uhličitan draselný?
Uhličitan draselný, also known as potassium carbonate, is a white, odorless powder with a salty taste. It is commonly used in the food industry as a pH regulator, stabilizer, and leavening agent. As a leavening agent, it reacts with acids in dough to release carbon dioxide gas which causes the dough to rise. It is also used in the production of cocoa, where it helps to improve the color and texture of chocolate products. In addition, uhličitan draselný plays a key role in the manufacturing of soaps, detergents, and glass.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
