So, what is vaniglia?
Vaniglia, also known as vanilla, is a popular flavoring ingredient derived from the seed pods of the vanilla orchid. The pods are harvested when they are still green and unripe, and then undergo a curing process that involves drying and sweating. The resulting dark, fragrant pods are filled with tiny black seeds that can be scraped out and used to flavor a variety of sweet dishes, including ice cream, cakes, and custards. With its rich, sweet, and creamy flavor profile, vaniglia is a beloved ingredient in desserts around the world and is often associated with indulgence and luxury.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
