So, what is verza?
Verza, also known as Savoy cabbage, is a leafy, cruciferous vegetable that belongs to the cabbage family. Its leaves are darker green and more crinkled than regular cabbage, giving it a visually distinct appearance. Verza has a slightly sweet and earthy flavor, with a delicate texture that can be both crisp and tender when cooked. It's a versatile ingredient that can be shredded finely for salads or chopped coarsely for soups and stews. Verza is also an excellent source of vitamin C, fiber, and other essential nutrients, making it a healthy addition to any meal.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
