So, what is yoghurtculturen?
Yoghurtculturen, also known as yogurt cultures, are a group of bacteria strains that are responsible for the fermentation of milk into yogurt. These cultures typically include Lactobacillus bulgaricus and Streptococcus thermophilus, which work together to break down lactose and produce lactic acid, giving yogurt its characteristic tangy flavor and thick, creamy texture. Yoghurtculturen are commonly added to milk to create yogurt products, which are enjoyed around the world for their health benefits and versatility in cooking and baking. These cultures are often prized for their ability to promote healthy digestion and boost the immune system, making them a popular ingredient in many health-conscious diets.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
