So, what is alcools?
Alcools, also known as alcohols, are a class of organic compounds that contain one or more hydroxyl (-OH) functional groups. They can be found in a variety of food and beverage products, such as beer, wine, and spirits. Alcools are commonly used as solvents, flavoring agents, and preservatives in food production. In addition, they can have a significant impact on the taste, aroma, and texture of a dish or drink. While alcools can add depth and complexity to a recipe, it is important to use them in moderation to avoid overpowering other flavors and potentially causing health risks.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
