So, what is aromes?
Aromes, also known as flavorings or food flavorings, are highly concentrated substances used to enhance the taste and aroma of food products. They are typically derived from natural sources such as plants, fruits, or animal products, but can also be artificially synthesized in a laboratory setting. Aromes are used in a wide range of food and beverage products, from savory dishes like soups and sauces to sweet treats like candies and baked goods. Because they are highly concentrated, only a small amount of aromes is needed to impart a strong flavor and aroma to a food product, making them a popular and cost-effective ingredient in the food industry.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
