So, what is celery leaves?
Celery leaves, also known as celery greens, are the bright green leaves that grow from the celery stalks. While most people are familiar with the crunchy, fibrous texture of the celery stalks, the leaves have a softer texture and a slightly bitter, herbaceous flavor. Despite their smaller size, celery leaves are packed with nutrients like vitamin C, vitamin K, and potassium. They also contain antioxidants that can help protect the body from oxidative stress. Celery leaves can be used to add flavor to soups, stews, salads, and sauces or can be juiced for a refreshing and healthy drink.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
