So, what is concentrados vegetales?
Concentrados vegetales, or vegetable concentrates, are natural ingredients derived from a combination of fresh or dried vegetables that have been processed to eliminate the water content. Concentrating vegetables optimizes their nutritional value, as most beneficial compounds such as vitamins and minerals are preserved in the process. These concentrates contain a high concentration of specific nutrients and antioxidants that can be used in various applications, including soups, stews, sauces, dressings, and more. They add depth, flavor, and color to dishes while providing an easy way to incorporate essential vitamins and minerals into any meal. Furthermore, they are a sustainable alternative to conventional farming practices, as they require less land, water, and energy to produce.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
