So, what is coriander seeds?
Coriander seeds are the dried seeds of the coriander plant, which is native to parts of Europe, Asia, and Africa. They have a warm, citrusy flavor that is both sweet and slightly peppery, making them a versatile ingredient in many cuisines. Coriander seeds are often used whole in Indian curries and pickling blends, but can also be ground into a powder for use in spice blends and marinades. In addition to their culinary uses, coriander seeds have been traditionally used in herbal medicine for their digestive and anti-inflammatory properties.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
