So, what is copper gluconate?
Copper gluconate is a mineral supplement that is often added to foods and beverages. It is a combination of copper and gluconic acid, which are both essential nutrients for the body. Copper plays an important role in the production of red blood cells, maintenance of bone health, and nerve function. Gluconic acid, on the other hand, is a natural compound found in fruits and honey and is known for its ability to improve digestion and enhance calcium absorption. Copper gluconate is used in small amounts to prevent copper deficiency and promote overall health, but excessive intake can be harmful.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
