So, what is edamames?
Edamames are young soybeans that are harvested before they ripen. These small, green beans are commonly served as a healthy and delicious snack, but they can also be used in a variety of recipes. Edamames are a rich source of protein, fiber, and essential nutrients like iron, calcium, and vitamin C. They have a unique, slightly sweet flavor and a firm, chewy texture that makes them a popular ingredient in salads, stir-fries, and sushi. Edamames are easy to prepare - simply steam, boil, or microwave them - and they can be seasoned with a range of spices and sauces to suit your taste.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
