So, what is fécule de maniocs?
Fécule de manioc is a starchy flour derived from the cassava plant, also known as yucca or tapioca. This fine powder is a popular ingredient in gluten-free and grain-free recipes, as it adds a light and fluffy texture to baked goods and thickens sauces and soups. Fécule de manioc is a common ingredient in many Latin American, African, and Asian cuisines, where it is used to make bread, dumplings, and noodles. It is also a great alternative to traditional wheat flour for those with celiac disease or gluten sensitivity.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
