So, what is germes de froments?
Germes de froments, also known as wheat germ, are the nutritious, vitamin-rich embryos of wheat grains. These tiny, golden-brown flakes are a concentrated source of nutrients, including protein, fiber, healthy fats, vitamins B and E, and minerals such as iron, magnesium, and zinc. With a subtle nutty flavor, germes de froments can be added to a variety of dishes, such as smoothies, yogurt, oatmeal, or baked goods, to boost their nutritional value. They are particularly beneficial for supporting a healthy immune system, aiding digestion, promoting healthy skin, and reducing the risk of chronic diseases.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
