So, what is naturals and artificial flavors?
Natural and artificial flavors are food additives that enhance the taste, aroma, or both of a particular food item. Natural flavors are derived from natural sources such as fruits, vegetables, spices, and herbs, while artificial flavors are synthesized in a lab to mimic the taste of natural flavors. Both types of flavors are used in a wide variety of food products to improve the overall sensory experience. While natural flavors are often preferred due to their perceived health benefits, artificial flavors can provide a more consistent and intense flavor profile. The use of natural and artificial flavors is regulated by the FDA to ensure their safety for consumption.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
